Yes, another Beedie Yosemite Photo! Bridalveil Fall: The Ahwahneechee tribe believed that Bridalveil Fall was home to a vengeful spirit named Pohono which guarded the entrance to Yosemite valley, and those leaving the valley must not look directly into the waterfall lest they be cursed. They also believed that inhaling the mist of Bridalveil Fall would improve one’s chances of marriage. (wikipedia.com)

More photos of my recent trip to Yosemite National Park on a very, very icy, cold day in December of 2012. Yosemite has a different feel and look in December. It’s Quiet. Peaceful. There’s only silence and you. Pull over to the side of the road, stand in theĀ forest and take a deepĀ breath of clean, fresh air among the 1,000 year old Sequoias – more commonly known as Redwoods. You may leave a very changed person. (as usual, click on the photo to enlarge and enjoy even further)
